How to check if V-Sync on or off in CSGO

how do you check if v sync on or off in csgo

Check your fps

If you have fps_max 300, but ingame fps is capped to your monitor refresh rate (e.g. 60 fps), it's on.

You can also just move the mouse around and notice if there is the input lag.

yah mines on i just tried it, so how do you turned it off?

If ingame vsync option is already turned off, it usually means you have vsync forced on in graphics drivers

still, how do I turn it off in the graphic drivers. Im not a tech guy :(

There's an option in video options that says something like check for vsync yes or no

i can still rember i used to have 280fps in game, then since they added revolver in csgo, it was dropped to 120-130, and then sometimes its even stuck at 30 for no reason and it randomly goes back to 120-130 if i dont try to play for a while or after deleting and redowloading steam and csgo a couple off times

Navigate to the Display Settings tab. Select Advanced Settings. Set Asynchronous Flip (or Vertical Sync for newer revisions) to On or Off. Select Apply > OK.

Does anyone know the command to type in the console? I need to make a launch option that enables the Vsync because every time I log in is disabled.

i think you can force it in nvidia settings, if you have amd i cant help you bro
