800dpi @ 8.6 sensitivity or 1600dpi @ 4.3 sensitivity?
I just tried upping my dpi from 800dpi @ 8.6 sensitivity to 1600dpi @ 4.3 sensitivity.
It's supposed to be the same thing, but I think it feels a lot more accurate, but it kind of feels a little bit more sensitive.

What do you guys think?
Should I keep it at 800dpi or keep it at 1600dpi?
Which do you guys prefer?

Both are identical, but what you're sensing is probably placebo.
Really asking someone for "help" in this situation won't be all that useful, since you probably won't solve your problem to begin with.
But who knows, there might be a person over by the discussions that might tell you which to use, but for me, I got nothing.

1600 dpi at half the ingame sens will give more "increments" per mouse movement, which generally is better assuming it doesn't cause other issues. (In older games, higher dpi causes more negative accel which is bad).

All mice have a 'best DPI' setting where the sensor works ideally. Use whatever that setting is for your mouse (needs some googling).

That's waaayyyyy too low for me.
If I had mine set to that, I would be sliding my mouse all over the table.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing,
and it really does feel smoother, so I guess it's not just a placebo effect

100 dpi 1 in game sens and use 3rd party programs to lower it further

There is no advantage to using lower DPI if you can use higher. Just reduce sensitivity (and do use raw input) in equal steps and you gain extra granularity of input, which is very nice.

Do mosue speed same like windows. so you will be always in training.

Not a bad idea, but what I normally do is calibrate it to be the same in windows at the DPI I use for most things (1800dpi) and then halve the sensitivity in-game while switching over to 3600dpi.

This way I get a nice consistent experience, but also the extra granularity when aiming in FPS.

Here is a video that might help with this

1600 native DPI * 0.6 sens = 960 eDPI - This is enough for decent movements and good aim.
