Should i have my monitor close to my face?
Most pro's seem to have their monitor right in their face, i have a 24" monitor.

you already answered your own question.

"Most pro's seem to have their monitor right in their face" You still feel the need to ask when you know that?

I wanted to know people's opinions, not people trying to be funny through pretty much iq dropping answers.

its not really much of an opinion question. if you want an answer, YES. YOU SHOULD. its kind of obvious, and there aren't any advantages to sitting far away because it reduces visibility.

Well, I hope not to make a generic answer that supports two arguments, but this should be done in accordance with your preference. If your face is too far from the monitor, you have reduced visibility, which is bad for hitting your shots. If your face is too close, however, you might just be looking right in the center of your screen. That means ♥♥♥♥ low fov, and flickshots can be a real hurdle. So place your face at a comfortable distance by your standards, and you should be set. Btw, not all pros stick their faces to the screen, take a look at jdm. (PS: Know I'm late xD, but just wanted to contribute to this discussion in the hopes that I can help anyone in the future.)

Up to you m8, its all personal preference

Personal preference. I like mind reasonably close but I can't play with the screen as close as some of the Pro players have theirs. Keep positioning it closer an find out how close is too close/uncomfortable for you then move it slightly back until it is comfortable again.

It doesnt matter, what matters is having your eyes all over the monitor and when you see the enemy only focus your sight on their head, both physical and the aim in game, if that helps.. and dont panic.. hope that helps :)
