yes

Edit: you edited it from can you derank if you lose to if you win and my answer remains the same- yes it is possible, however very unlikely. There are cases of people winning all their matches and becoming silver 1. Also i had a friend who deranked after carrying a match from nova 1 to silver 6.

As for the drop to silver 1:

No, you can't. People claim that, but I've never seen any evidence at all.

Yes, yes you can. It's not a 'win= next rank' kind of system. You can rank up by a tie too, as you can 'derank' while winming the game.

You can rank up or down by a tie, since you gain or lose elo on a tie depending on the rankings of a team. If you/your team (not sure if a tie is individual or team based for this) are ranked higher than the opposing team, then you will lose elo on a tie.
You do not lose elo for a win, and you do not gain elo on a loss. Therefore, you can never derank on a win or uprank on a loss unless you have recently played with a cheater and games were reverted.

Where did you get your information based on CS:GO's ranking system? I thought VALVe chooses not to disclose it?

I've got mine since I saw it happen on a lobby I was playing. No need to lie, it may happen to you or your friends. My friend was ak2 and deranked to MG1 on a win we had.
