I have about 800 hours and im global, about 200 probably idle maybe more. But I played a fair amount of 1.6

The question people want answered is, for those of you for who CSGO is your first iteration of the counter strike series, how many hours did it take to get to the top 3 ranks? If you played thousands of hours in CSS and 1.6 then obviously the 20 wins it took to get to GE in CSGO doesn't count

Thats a lie. Your rank is determined mostly by wins/losses, not individual performance even if it does factor in. Anyone can get GE if they try hard, play a while, and queue with lobbies
