check your dpi settings and windows settings.

Also make sure your acceleration is off

If your using a wireless mouse and change the battery that could make it faster.
If your using a old mouse pad then moving it (Shifting it / Turning it) could make your mouse movement change.

I have the same problem, have you figured it out?
Have you bought a new mouse recently?

I use an aspect ratio of 16:9.

Thanks for the help anyway, guys.

I'm going to try to reinstall driver updates, CS:GO, etc. It could also be because of me moving usb cords into other ports to free up wire room. All of this would coincide with this problem I've been having. The only downside is that doesn't explain why I don't have this issue in other games, like l4d2 and Terraria.

edit: mixed up games in my comment. Switched them back into their proper positions. Sorry if I confused anyone.

Any changes at all made lately, like a new monitor or screen? Any changes to hardware or anything else?

As of the recent update, I now have this problem too. I can't seem to figure out what it is. Setting DPI and ingame sensitivity to the lowest possible values still results in a fast sensitivity. I can't play properly right now because of how difficult it is to aim.

Surely someone has figured out a solution to this by now?

None of the above.

Thanks everyone for trying to help. I solved the issue.

For whatever reason, "Raw Mouse Input" was toggled off for this game, and not the others. So, I figured that toggling it on would solve the problem. Sure enough, it did.

I have no idea how that happened, but then again, each update always toggles off the "always show inventory" option too. No idea why these things happen.

TL;DR

I fixed it. Thanks all.
Why did you Necro this thread instead of making a new one???

If it really bothers people, then I will keep it in mind the next time I have a problem.
It bothers a decent amount of people here.
Mainly because of how annoying it is.
