Jumpy Walking - Lag?
For what feels like a year, I haven't been able to play CS:GO and enjoy myself because of this strange problem that occurs to me when I play this game. If I start walking forward, I will jump back a foot or two and continue walking forward. If spawn right at the edge of spawn and head out with a knife in hand, I will fall behind the guy with the Negev almost every time. Not only does it make me slower, it renders what I see on my screen useless as what the server things I'm doing and what my client thinks I'm doing are two different things. I could have popped around the corner and shot some guy in the face with a Sawed-Off when I suddenly pop back to the facefull of smoke that I get for shooting a wall point blank, and then the guy comes around and kills me.

This only occurs in high-latency games, but then again, I have not been able to join what I deem as even mediocre-latency games; all matches that I have been able to join, even with the help of the legacy browser, have over 100 ping. This does not occur in other Source games, which can run smoothly and don't have lag issues on the servers I play on. I have discussed the issue with a friend, who has been wanting to play with me for a while now, and it's distressing that I have to tell him that I still can't play with him. He's never heard of the issue I'm having, and that worries me.

Its because you have high ping, your connection takes longer to send/recieve packets to the server and from because you have high ping, so when the server recieves your packets, it corrects your position. (Higher Ping = Longer it takes to reach server = l=Stutter gameplay

Im not sure where you live but you should be able to get low latency servers in your country/region that are below 100 ping.

That issue clearly means you're lagging.Badly.What country do you live in anyway ? Even me,who lives in Indonesia can get 20-90 pings on every single match. If you do live at United States like your profile states, you shouldn't get bad pings at all.Check your internet connection speed.Make sure no one downloads something/stream anything when you're playing

I do not have bad internet connection, I can play other online games nicely. I live on the East Coast of the US, I shouldn't have a problem connecting to a server within my state, and I don't in most games, but in CS:GO I do.
