Minimal Wear Trade-Up to a Field-Tested skin?

I'm very confused and annoyed because I recently purchases 10 Minimal Wear CZ75-Auto | Pole Position skins from the community market and went in game and put them in a trade-up contract but received a FIELD-TESTED Galil AR | Eco. Can someone explain what happened? PLEASE HELP!

Condition is randomized. There is no way to guarantee the wear on trade-up contracts.

the skin wear of the skin you get out of the trade up contract is random. some skins don't have certain wears(e.g. asiimov only goes up to field tested), and some don't have anything below min wear(fade). If 10 factory new skins gets you a factory new skin the economy would take a huge hit

Ok, I looked it up and I was wrong sorry, so if I put in 10 battle-scarred do I have a chance of getting a FN? I saw this video about float and I checked my float value and was guaranteed a MW one though?

dude its randomized you can get random conditions so dont complain if you traded up mw to ft skin + the eco is pretty cheap so you lost icome

I know it's cheap, that's why I got the pole position so I could try and get a MW Eco so I make a profit

Well, I'm just annoyed because I lost money from something I thought was going to give me money (although it is csgo) but thanks for your help :)

I think you can get anywhere between FT and FN from MW skins.

You're not GUARANTEED a FN skin if you're trading up FN skins, but there's a higher CHANCE to get a FN.

The condition isn't random at all. You can calculate exactly what wear you will get with this formula.

avg*(max-min)+min

avg - Average float value of the skins you are trading up.
min - minimum float value of the gun you want to get.
max - maximum float value of the gun you want to get.

You can find the float values on the skins on csgo.exchange
They also have a tool that shows you what you can get by trading up.
You need to select the 10 skins you want to use to trade up and click show filters -> trade up contract icon.
