What would you say is the optimal sized monitor for counterstrike? Is 27 inches too big ? 🤔

well; you just linked yourself in your post (that philips),what i meant was,id prefer the philips over the asus since the philips uses a better panel tech

These two are what I’ve got my eyes on now just need to decide which one to buy ,I have scrapped the 4k idea I want a higher refresh rate instead

Well, I was watch some videos about difference between 60 HZ / 140 / 240 , and above .
60 vs 140 is like when you comparing night and day .
All above that is better , but not doubled or tripled .
You get only 10 % + better reaction time with 240 / 360 , etc ...

There is no correct answer, the sweet spot is definitely 24-27" as others have sad. Biggest thing you can do is make sure you get a 144hz as a minimum.

There is not a single person who will comment in this thread that will gain any kind of advantage going from 144 to 240. Especially 360. We aren't fighter pilots, you're mid rank CS players

Im playing on some old Dell 27 inch monitor for about decade because it is 2k monitor ,and it has only 60 Hz .(Need that resolution for other games)
Size is good .
In my country I can only find 28 Asus 4K 144hz for acceptable price .
Does anyone here knows the difference between 27 and 28 , or it is only about size ?

Yes the 27 and 28 are literally the size in inches of the monitor....

Professionals use 24 because a 27 screen is too large for your peripheral vision. Things that is not in your central vision can get very blurry. I use a 27 screen and thinking of getting a high end 24 for CS2 and other games because I like having the screen close to my face and a 27 makes me look around a lot.
