2. the increased brightness might cause your eyes to hurt after a while i recommend turning it down a bit
3. cs2 is a competetive game so they need to balance performance and visuals, most AAA games go for a 60 fps target cs2 gets like 300fps on the same hardware
4. alot of people are already complaing about cs2 being to demanding because csgo was running on 10+ year old hardware with like 500 fps and now they "only" get 100-200 fps with the same old hardware
for the rest of your text, if you think so :D
MODELS are bad.
Player models / hand viewmodels are bad looking.
Also movement animations.
Valve/Nexon released 10 years ago Counter-Strike 2 for Asian region with perfect player movement animations. Why not just porting them into CS 2?
- Lighting probably isnt compiled on best possible settings as that tends to take several days per map and they're technically still developing this game
- It certainly doesn't look bad & a lot is actually Photogrammetry (take lots of photos from a object from multiple angles, use that to get a VERY high res 3d model, bake that to something game-ready) so its weird to see you claim that its bad quality, are you sure its not just simplifying graphics for your machine to hit its preferred crazy high framerates?
- In my humble opinion the visibility in CS2 is actually MUCH better then it was in CS:GO, the fact that you even say you dont pay attention to the graphics anymore after a few rounds is a GOOD thing, it means you're paying attention to the game lol. Also the higher contrast is again a GOOD thing, you don't want your enemies to just blend into the environment making you lose the match right?
- Right now the focus seems to be finding the right settings (for timing etc) that work for most people, plus they are probably also testing this so called "Vac Live" thing.
----
Dude come on, that asian version (CS:NEO) is just a clone of CSS for arcades that has nothing to do with the main franchise and is not noteworthy at all, it just adds all sort of random trash to the game because these Nexon people are stupid and don't respect their customers or the IP they leased, nothing of that is "better than CS2" by any means, please dont ever make that claim again...
Menu settings like brightness don't do anything so they clearly are leaving it like this sadly, prefer csgo lighting and colours
That's such a problem, on the one hand it looks totally overdrawn and on the other hand a color mash develops where you can hardly distinguish one from the other, to put it exaggeratedly. As I said, I don't know this from CS:GO, which is why I mention it.
The fact that I don't pay as much attention to the graphics after a few rounds could also be due to the fact that they are not as important for the game as other aspects. Or maybe I don't find the graphics as distracting, or maybe I don't notice them as much during the game because they're the same cards I've been playing for years. Conjecture.
It was released for PC, not for arcade. I'm playing it right now.
I don't know about CS NEO, but i cleanly know how is real Counter-Strike 2 is looking.
But CS:GO (CS2) is totally different

Edit:
After looking at the website some more, i've just reported your post asking steam moderators to delete that link, seriously dude, uninstall that sh*t before it starts mining bitcoin or locking your files or whatever the crazy hell this software actually does, it has no relation to CS2 or Valve at all & smells all kinds of extremely shady, get that sh*t off your computer asap!!!
I said how in a game that came out 10 years ago, the graphics, models and animations look better than in the game of 2023? In CS:GO (CS2) everything looks terrible - animations, models, overbrighten maps.
Okay so are you actually involved in this scam or? how can you claim it looks better when its cleary Source1 and clearly CS:NEO files thrown together with L4D2 files and some retextures?!?! and lower quality enviornments etc??? this has just become pretty damn suspicious sir, maybe stop trying to scam people into installing this virus or whatever the hell it is.
Your link got removed, take the hint, go try scam people somewhere else.
Second - we are talking about game animations and you're trying to take the conversation in a completely different direction.
I already posted the gameplay part, where the animations, from previous CS game from Valve is looking alot better than in a game that came out in 2023.
