Microphone issues in CS2

Hey,
So my headset mic (Logitech G Pro X) is not working, but only in CS2. It seems like its not gathering my voice, but the icon of speaking is displayed.
Same issue was posted on some forums, regarding other headsets, but maybe there is already a fix for it?
And just to make it clear, steam mis is set properly, all drivers updated etc.

THIS IS THE TRICK I USE, TURN OFF ALL THE ECHO CANCELATION BS AND PUT TEST MIC ON AND TWIST MICRO PHONE PLUG SO YOU CAN HEAR YOUR SELF THEN HIT SHIFT TAB, YOU HAVE TO HEAR YOURSELF, BUT MAKES SURE ITS WORK, SOMETIMES UNPLUGGING AND REPLUGGING WORKS, BUT DEF LEAVE TEST MICRO PHONE ON

Had same problem, fixed by setting my mic as default at windows sound setting and forcing cs2 to use it by volume apps and detailed sounds settings of windows.
Also should maximize volume of mic at overlay settings.
