auto griefing bans

Since cs2 has been out for me (31st august) I have received 2 auto griefing bans of 2 days, each one of them felt very very wierd because I never trolled my team or anything, only 1 of my games before my 1st ban was because of my team reporting me (Russians) even though i wasn't the toxic one, but the minority by being the only non-Russian speaking teammate. For my most recent ban I am absolutely positive that i wasn't toxic to any of my teammates since my first ban. I was only doing a small bit of trash talking to enemy team on my most recent game (which is actually a basic CS thing to do) and they all reported me after losing (they were a premade). I am absolutely sure that it wasn't my teammates because I had a lot of fun playing with them, had no beef with anyone except the enemy team ( and my team understood that my only goal was to tilt them a bit, so they wouldn't have reported me for this ). So I am 100% sure that this ban system is broken in cs2, if the enemy team is salty and all report you because of their saltiness you will receive a ban for this even if you and your team are having good vibes.
BTW "commends" are probably a counter to griefing reports but they are useless because nobody will make an effort to gives out commends because nobody cares about them, so all you receive are griefing reports and that is all xd I have appealed to each ban but valve will just send an automated response and do nothing about it. This game is broken and i highly suggest you don't speak at any point in risk of getting reported and ask for commends because you will probably receive a ban for no reason like me.

Let me know if anyone else had the same problem. (I know i'm not the only one because I have seen many others have the same issue)

So winning a game is griefing the opponents to you?
And if i am trash talking them, this isn't griefing, it's verbal abuse, a very different thing, they could just mute me if they are annoyed by what i say, griefing is throwing a game intentionally by killing teammates or just in general, sabotaging the game.

No it actually doesn't when it comes to the enemy team, in voice chat i was 100% respectfull to my team and did everything to win the game for them with good vibes. Verbal abuse to teammates is griefing, yes, but i didn't disrespect anyone I was playing for.

But you are also just guessing a lot here. You also aren't likely to tell us the entire story. I'm guessing you don't get bans for reports from one or two games.

Written abuse to the enemy can be considered griefing, it's not needed for the game and they probably reported you both for communications and griefing. Be ready to enjoy your global mute ban

If you receive too many verbal abuse reports, it will only get you auto-muted after a moment, that is why faceit players are ofter auto muted. The griefing report is the only thing that gets you banned, and it does so automatically, nobody is a judge of how you were acting, it just does so by itself when it sees people are reporting you often, in cs2 it is even worse than csgo, this is the first time i am getting banned like this since cs2, in csgo this only happend once a long time ago and it was justified, i was really toxic and deserved it back then, but now the system is way more sensitive on cs2 so watch out i guess

I litterally laid down all the backstory xD i played 3 games of solo queue today, and had a good time with the teammates, and all yesterday i was with my actual friends in 5 stack, so it is obvious that the reports were from the enemy team, I am laying out all that happend to see if anyone else had the same experience, i don't care of all your justifications because I know what happend xD

not sure about OP's situation, but I have a friend who was victim of auto grief bans. if people don't like an anime profile picture, they will just automatically grief report you. then as soon as you get thrown in grief report lobbies, you're screwed bc even if you do nothing wrong and change your profile up to be less triggering to haters, people will grief report just for the sake of it, esp in grief report lobbies. vicious downward cycle

This thread has either people that are not concerned and just want to chat sht or people like you who actually have real information about the situation that is constructive and good to share, because this is a real bad situation, if I am posting my side of the story it is because I am sure that the situation isn't normal and that I know I am not a toxic person in game, I play like everyone and do effort to not be toxic. I assure everyone that I am a very respectfull player when i play.
