Last night CS2 update

Anyone played since the 3.5GB update last night? For me the game has gone backwards, for the first week of the limited test beta the netcode was horrific with packet loss/rubber banding/latency issues on movement and shooting.

The previous week has been perfect since setting customer interps etc, last night update has just broken the game again for me, with every buller feeling like it has travel time before it hits an oponent and getting shot before I can even see an them.

Any one else experiencing the same?

Shortly and bluntly put: Yes. But I experienced it even before this update. The lag compensation and peekers advantage was kinda bad in CS:GO but in CS 2.. Man, it's on a another level. I've played CS 2 for about 30 hours and I'd say the biggest gripes I have are hitreg/hitboxes being super weird compared to CS:GO and the peekers advantage being totally broken in this iteration of CS.

And no, I'm not from a 3rd world country playing on a 15 yr old PC which is connected to internet through a hand made haywire-banana-modem.

I've played 55 games, the first 30 were terrible with the network and desync, this is despite having a good computer, ram, 1Gb fibre and sub 20ms ping.

After being able to set different interps and making some firewall changes the following 20 games were brilliant and my amount of kills double because my bullets hit people. I wasnt getting wide swung/peekers advantage but now it's all broke again.

The other changes looks good and we're needed, but pointless if the game can't be played lol.

I also have Lags while shooting or randomly moving my ping is fine packet loss is not the problem since the newest updat it happens more and more...

Cool update! if you throw a grenade to an teammate, it is invisible
