I've created a web based CS2 CS Rating Leaderboard
I'm excited to announce the beta release of my CS2 CS Rating Leaderboard.
It's a simple website designed with the aim to be able to check the Leaderboards when you're not Ingame.

Features

Choose leaderboard
World, Africa, Asia, Australia, China, Europe, North America, and South America.

Search for Username
Search for a Username in the Leaderboard using the search function. (User has to be in the top 1000 of the selected Leaderboard)

Currently displays
Rank, Name, and CS Rating.

Disclaimer:

There are a few features that are currently under development. The Wins, Win% and %Rank metrics aren't functional yet, but I'm actively working on it.

Tech Stack:

Built using Flask for the Backend which communicates with the Steam API to fetch the leaderboard data.

Frontend is super basic. HTML, CSS, and a bit of JS

Feedback: If you find any bugs, design flaws or anything else. Feel free to DM me. Feedback is highly appreciated.

Seems like a good idea, but to comply with European data regulations, you need to give people a way to opt out of data collection:

https://commission.europa.eu/law/law-topic/data-protection/data-protection-eu_en

This of course means you need a decent frontend for logins, so people can opt out.

Steam is allowed to collect the data because as a CS2 customer, every player has a contract with Valve. Nobody has signed a contract with you.

I am not collecting any Player information or any Individual data. I basically just wrapped the steamapi into a frontend. This Data is publicly available without any authentication.
