How to completely disable the streams on CSGO menu
I've never had any interest in watching the streams, and never will. Is there a way I can permanently disable the GOTV or whatever the feature is called. After every match, the streams pop back up again even though I've already hit the x to close them, and it's driving me not to play the game. If there isn't a way already, they should add one, because it's really annoying having to close it over and over again.

Edit. Apparently this has been now addressed or completely removed (don't know which) - just noticed there no longer is GOTV opening up automatically.

I Agree, It's also blasted loud, I have very high sound on csgo but that video goes over the top and beyond n bloes my eardrums apart. then i have to clue them back togeather again every time. Let us block that thing from ever apearing. I hate watching sports.

i agree, i don't like nor will ever like live streams,

i prefer playing rather than watching people play,

i tried googling this, and found nothing, wtf is wrong with valve ?

forcing people to watch things they don't want to watch ?

i hope someone found out and share how to disable live streams on home menu.

Apparently this has been fixed (one way or another) as I no longer have the GOTV automatically playing (nor at all as far as I can see).

I'm glad you came back to this thread after one year to post something that everybody already knows by now.

What does the stream have to do with your cooldown?

I recieved cooldown because stream opened in chrome (i dont know why, maybe i clicked it accidentaly). My slow pc couldnt handle CSGO + Twitch in Chrome and voila, 2 hours cooldown.

How did you get a cooldown, though?
