Warning: Connection problem, auto disconnecting in 25 seconds
Hello, so i've been getting this problem ever since i changed ISP and router. This is what happens:
1. I join any game modes
2. my ping is always below 50. most of the time it's 20 and less.
3. on 3rd to 5th round everyone will freeze along with me and top right of the screen says "Warning: Connection problem, auto disconnecting in 25 seconds
4. it won't reconnect even if i set the timer to 2 minutes.
5. it happens so many times in competitive, at least 3 times on a single competitive match. (i gotta reconnect each time i get disconnected)
6. my internet has no problem at all, i ussually play with my mates using razer comms, and when my connection to the server cuts out, razer comms still works. So, my internet doesn't cut out or crash.
7. it only happens on cs go
8. i never get disconnected from community servers (only valve's)

Things i've done:
1. adding google dns to both my computer and router.
2. reinstalling the game
3. pinging google.com everytime i start cs go (when the connection to the server cuts out the ping will keep going with no packet loss)
4. restarting router only works for one match.
5. disabling WZC or WCZ or something idk
6. drivers are updated
7. cl_cmdrates, cl_updaterates, rate, cl_interp etc don't work.

i had no problem at all playing the game with my old router and isp, current isp and router are much better than my older ones so i dont want to switch back.

i'm using wireless connection, because my router is downstairs and my gaming room is upstairs, and it's a pretty long way for a long ethernet cable to reach my computer.

i sometimes play with my friends and cousin at home with the same internet connection, everyone gets the same issue (connection problem)

called my isp and they weren't much of a help.

Any help is appreciated c;

Thanks in advance

I had this problem. It's either your new router is low quality or a shoddy wireless card or usb wireless dongle. What I did is move the router to where your pc is and plug your pc directly into the router with an ethernet cable.
If you can't move it, ask your ISP or try a new wireless usb dongle.

if it was my router, then i would get the same issue on every online game that i play and as i said cs go server is the only that gets disconnected, teamspeak or razer comms still work as my connection cut out from the server.

my router is fiber optic so moving it upstairs will be a pain in the arse. the optic is also planted inside the wall.
you asked the support already?

Hm, I have no idea then, perhaps you are far away from where the servers are based

my isp customer support or steam support?

isp customer support, yes i did. they only told me to make sure that the fiber optic is not bent, and then they told me that they'll contact me once they know the solution

steam support no i haven't.

Hi Napreuse I have the exact same problem. So I was wondering how did you manage to fix this? I have fiber optic too. You could really make my day happy if you helped me. I have had this problem for almost a year!
NG Jan 5, 2016 @ 10:59pm
hey Stroger, i've found a way for me not to disconnect mid game, it's only temporarily however.

So all i have to do is restart my WiFi everytime i'm joining a game.

I don't need to restart my wifi again if for example changing maps on a casual game. But if i leave the server, then i'll have to restart my wifi again if i want to join another game.

I hope it helps, i'm sorry that i can't give you the permanent fix for it, i'm still looking for a way though.

EDIT:
What i meant by 'restarting my wifi' is rebooting my router

yo napreuse.im thinking maybe it's because we changed our isp and router. Are you still using the router the company gave you or are you using one you bought. but ever since i switched playing CSGO has gone to ♥♥♥♥.

Thank you for contacting Steam Support.
