CS GO excessive amount of headshots
With my experience, headshots have gone beyond just "headshots". In a single game, there are more headshots than normal body kills.
There are two reasons for this, and they both need fix.

1)Excessive Recoil of weapons (unbalanced), which is referred to as "luck"
Some of the weapons have recoil, like ak-47 and negev, but they also have an amazing magic bullet factor which results in headshots at 2nd bullet. For some reason, this recoil never seem to cause damage in feet or lower body, only directed at head automatically.

2)The classic, blatant hackers with aimbots.(Very rare)
The constant headshotter guy who headshots with any weapon close, mid or far range. Easily spotted, not reported.

All in all, I just wanted to shed some light on headshot factor. I think weapon damages are perfectly normal for headshots, but the number of headshots in the game(compared to real life or previous cs versions) is abnormal and takes away from the game.

You can call me b****ing, but this is just me, i would like to hear your opinions about headshot factor.

Mate..
You don't AIM for he body. You AIM for the head; When I use AK, my FIRST shot should be at the head.
What rank are you?

If you go for bodyshots than you arent very secure about your aim, thats why the pros only headshot, they practise so many times that they only aim for the head.
And no, no bullets are ever directed to the head.

If you don't have good aim you probably either train it or simply aim for the torso and fire 2 shots. The second shot will most likely go to the head because of the recoil.

lolololol you're supposed to aim for the head unless you want to die first
Midgardian Aug 31, 2015 @ 11:05am
Of course, I aim for the head, and I also get plenty of headshots. Actually, so much that it makes me question about the recoil of weapons. I even tried to shoot at the feet of the enemy with AK-47 just to test it, and all i can say is recoil is always upwards, never sideways or downwards. Even when the crosshair moves downwards, u still get headshots.

Have you ever shot a gun in real life? Like an Assault rifle? I dont think so, go look some videos of it.

Exactly, but we dont see splattered brains of soldiers all the time, right? Maybe its becuz realistic recoil collision is much different than cs go magic recoil.

I don't understand the issue here...

All weapons follow a recoil pattern unique to each gun. The recoil is the same EVERY SINGLE TIME. It's called a recoil pattern.

Learn the recoil pattern..

There's nothing wrong with headshots, it means people are aiming. The hitboxes are smaller than Source. I don't understand what you're complaining about.... Honestly, this has to be a joke.

its been like this for forever. either learn it or go away

Its clear as day you dont get how the recoil system works in cs go so i advise you to actually get out of gold nova and educate yourself before making such a stupid thread.....
