Also having custom profiles for different DPIs at a press of a button is useful.
Custom mice also have different weights you can use, adjustable parts to extend palm rest etc

Also, I have a smaller version of the same mouse mat and for some reason putting a smaller mouse mat onto a larger one further increases precision? Unsure why, but try it out and you will see.
Agreed, sitting position, desk, screen etc all makes a difference.... most people don't even bother with this but if you have a level, use it on your screen to ensure it isn't wonkey.
As as simple fix on the screen being off center can make wonders happen on accuracy and recoil control.
