Is there something like a "soft aimbot"?
I reviewed two overwatch cases today, in both the suspect had 30+ kill and less than 5 deaths. They checked cornern properly and didn't seem to have a wallhack. Their kills were 90% headshots, but I didn't see any snapping or the like. They could have just been really good or smurfs or something, I don't know. Any idea if they could be cheaters anyway?

You would be surprised how detailed you can setup aimbots.

There are alot of options, like setting the area where the aimbot reacts, how long it stays on the taget, how fast it snaps to the target or even not snapping to the target at all, but still doing work. called silent aim

there are also options on certain cheats like "only aim every 3 bullets" or something similar.

Its actually pretty hard to spot a good setup aimbot.
The only way really is to compare the guys character movement and mouse movements. If he plays like a brick / 60 year old with parkinson theres no way this guy can aim.

Soft aimbot?More like legit aimbot to me
90% Headshot? Damn..
Well from your post or thread..
It can be a smurf or cheater, but i dont think he is a smurf with 90% headshots..(even with 30+ kills)
30+kills can be happen(Happen 1 time),less than 5 death(Never see one before)
Like i said,i think theres no hack or cheat called soft aimbot, maybe you think is legit aimbot(which like aimbot but when see the enemy or the mouse it self go toward the enemy, and yeah i think i have bad grammer aswell).
It can be smurf in fact, but is hard to tell due 90% Headshots

There are quite a few videos showing how aimbot works.
Aimbot can be anything from snapping to heads to crosshair pull in the general direction of approaching players.

You also get external assistance to reduce recoil and the likes.

Take in note the cases where he got the kills. 90% hs ratio while doing only flickshots to moving targets is suspicious, but when done to silvers that just stand around doing whatever silvers do, it might not be that hard to believe.

Lol He is most likely a smurf, i can get anything from 60-80 hs on my smurf most players usally crouch once and stop or they stand still, it just depends on the enemy team

Maybe it was a smurf, but there are things out like silent aim, it is nearly an aimbot, but without crosshair snapping, you shoot somewhere, and will hit the enemy. The only way to detect a silent aim in overwatch will be, that the suspect is shooting straight and kills one left or right... Normaly silent aim is set up with a trigger. You have your target in Crosshair, the trigger shoots, and the silent aim hits every bullet.

Most aimbots are "soft". The only people who use blatantly obvious aimbots still are trolls who want others to know they're ruining the game.

The fact that certain professional players got away with using aim assists for so long without millions of viewers noticing should tell you how unlikely it is for most cheaters to get caught via Overwatch. It really is all up to VAC to catch them out.

If you're not sure then put insufficient evidence. Some aimbots can look legitimate but at the same time you could be looking at a high ranking smurf. This is one of the limits of Overwatch.
