NEW hack?

Hi guys! Yesterday someone added me on friends. And did ask me about playing with them. He said he found me on a group (norwegian group) anyone, he asked me to join his teamspeak. And gave me the Teamspeak server. after trying to connect the teamspeak server with the ip i was hacked. Did only loose 2 items, but its fkn su*ks anyway.

hack named was : Teamspeak sound plugin.exe

so if anyone random add's u and ask u to play.. just delete them and thank yourself for being safe :)

So you were missing some kinda sound plugin or smth like that and gave you a link to download the missing file?

nah, i did just type in the teamspeak IP.. then a error did come up and a random homepage (teamspeak) jumped up and the file was automaticly downloaded.. 2 sec later i was fu*ked..

i needed to use my phone to change passwords and stuff, since steampower.com google, hotmail and stuff was blocked.. scary stuff. lost 3 items. crossing my fingers im getting them back :)

You're not getting them back I'm afraid. Also, use decent antivirus software and for god's sake don't open the bloody links that strngers send you. TS won't open them for you. It's like it's 90's and people open all sorts of crp on their e-mails.

You only EVER should google stuff yourself and USE the OFFICIAL website for downloads.

sounds like the error was no error but a message made from the server owner wich opened the fake ts sitde to donwload the hack

should have closed it

Really? My account got hacked i sent in a ticket and a month later i got my stuff back

They only do it once if it's your first time, afaik. One time deal and that's it.
After that, you're on your own.

You need to learn about internet security. You should never have automatically downloaded anything. I suggest you google how to keep your computer from automatically downloading anything.

Hint: There is a setting that stops downloading from happening automatically on your computer but you probably turned it off so you could download without being asked every 2 sec if you are sure.
