CS:GO Stuck on loading screen

CS:GO got stuck on the loading screen 5 times, I got banned because of it. My friend, who is in a different location also experienced it, but he managed to get in at 0:10 after restarting like me and constantly using the console to type disconnect and reconnect. It didnt work for me however, and I was banned, for 2 hours. He has now tried to play another game and recieved a 7 day ban because what happened to me just happened to him again, this time he had no luck in getting back in. Anyone else having this issue at the present?

After linking a friend to this thread, he also had a story about this. Valve patch this? We are being banned for no reason, this isnt on our end, its yours.

My friend Noveie has now commented on my screenshot saying he too has experienced this today, I want compensation valve, my ban will run out before you patch this, however you just wasted 2 hrs of game time I could've had today. Thanks alot!

Nope, as you can see, many peoples have done this today, Noveie's whole skype lobby just had it done, same with my friend eflow

Valve is gonna be flooded by Unban requests my friend, if it happened to us already, who knows how many others have had this problem, I havent submitted a ticket, but some of my friends have.

Yes, I had this issue today and just received a seven day competition ban for something I had no control over.
I just got out of a seven day ban after my friend decided to drop a back joke and kill somebody on my account whilst I was at his house but thats not the point. I don't want to have to wait another whole week for something like this, its unfair and this should get fixed, hopefully get an unban as well.
