and to answer your question, the best option in cs would probably be 'headphones' or '7.1'
How are they, is the mic and sound good? I might get a pair ^w^
Also 7.1 should sound better when gaming yes (music no pls) but its virtual 7.1 and like Sun #Global said it's a bit overwhelming sometimes. but if i dont hit the 7.1 sound button on my headsets control box it gives me 5.1 right? should i just keep the 7.1 off and play csgo like that? or do i have to make some changes into csgo itself? Also would i be able to track al the footsteps right than?
Under the sound tab and then output i think. Not familiar with HyperX headsets, perhaps look into drivers or options? But yeah i think it would give you also the physically 5.1. Which is something you also dont wanna use in CS.
True 7.1 is awesome in every game, except CS :D The ambient sound and guns etc are too loud and sadly there are no options to change that.
Its awesome in games like Battlefield, while shooting and a friendly chopper flies slowly above your head and also engages the enemy. Thats all awesome and beautifull to listen to.
But in CS, oh boy.. :P Dont know if you play CS a lot or serious? Perhaps you can ignore it or live with it^
Thanks for al the tips so far!
try test around with it :p
