CS Go Dead Servers PS3

can someone from valve please explain why the servers for the ps3 multiplayer have been down for over a week now? so far nobody from sony or valve has said anything about the status of the servers.

I think the major problem is that you're playing CSGO on PS3. Plus why would they countinue support for servers on PS3 when the PC version of the game has over a half million players online evey day.

Send a polite ticket to steam support. Might get an answer, might not.
Imo, they should discontinue selling it on consoles and offer some kinda of refund to those who already baught the game regardless of when it happened. They do not support console version anymore (not sure since when) anyway.

Not really pointless. Just trying to point out that little to no people actually play CSGO on the console version of the game and therefore Valve might have discountinued support for the game. Just send in a ticket and maybe if your lucky Valve will refund you for the cost of the game some how.

it usually takes me a few seconds to find a game on cs go on the ps3 search lobby so there is an active player base despite what you think, and if valve has discontinued support for cs go they should have said something.

There are definitely plenty of players on Ps3. I've played cs since 1.6 and moved away from desktops therefore any computer gaming so console just works easier. Its not that we should get a PC its that we she be given an explanation. Steam supports some of the older games that came out over a decade ago they just got to ps3 several years ago now they are pulling the plug after that short amount of time and not to mention our money. Its not like we can host our own servers like others on PC can. I have a steam ticket in and will be contacting PSN for a refund.

I agree that Valve should bring their words on board and explain what's going on. Am not console user, so not sure what is happening.
However, when I said they discontinued support for consoles I didnt mean that they do no give a crap. I wasn't precise, sorry. What I meant is that they do not improve/enhance it, since...as mentioned not sure how long, but I bet at least a year. However, if they plan implementing S2 engine soon enough maybe there is some hope for you guys.
Anyway, cs go is a total PC game. Console has different dynamics which I've never liked. This is a reason I've never played Fallout 3, cuz it was made for consoles rather than for PC.
Last but not least, Valve has chosen their path in cs go (as far as I guess) simply because due to the market/business factor/-s. It is less costly to buy PS4 and play games for few years than re-building your GPU/CPU every 1/2 years.
P.S. Am curious for their response to you, so when, and if, you have some info, share it please.
