144hz in windowed mode

so as soon as i change csgo into windowed mode it just switches to 60hz for some reason then when i switch back to full screen it goes back to 144hz ??!! :s someone plz help me i want to play fullscreen windowed with 144hz

i had the same problem. you need to change your display settings in your control panel to 144hz from 60hz. this does not change automatically by default. Control panel -> display settings -> advanced settings -> second tab in the window that pops up and switch to 144hz. at least i feel that it worked for me, when i switch between fullscreen windowed and normal fullscreen now, i don't see any difference. let me know if this helps you.
