Fellow Counter-Strike players, lovers of tactical brilliance, and defenders of classic maps,

Today, I stand before you not just as a player but as a voice for the countless fans who have spent years perfecting their craft on one of the most iconic battlegrounds in CS:GO history—Cache.

Cache was never just another map. It was a proving ground where strategies were forged, friendships were tested, and legends were made. From its tight mid-control battles to the intense A-site retakes, Cache embodied everything that made Counter-Strike an art form. It was fast-paced yet balanced, simple yet complex, and most importantly—it was ours.

Yet, in a moment that still pains many of us, Cache was removed from the Active Duty map pool, leaving a void in our hearts and in the game itself. It was reworked, polished, and improved, yet it still remains absent from where it truly belongs—on the grand stage of competitive Counter-Strike.

Why was it removed? Was it time for a refresh in the pool? Perhaps. But has it been long enough? Absolutely. We have seen maps rotate in and out, but it is time that Cache gets the recognition it deserves once more. Other maps have had their moments to shine, and now we call upon the CS:GO developers and the community at large to rally behind this movement—to bring Cache back where it belongs.

We, the players, the casters, the analysts, and the content creators, demand that this beloved map be given its rightful place among the best. We ask for our voices to be heard. Let’s flood social media, forums, and the discussion boards. Let’s show Valve that Cache was never forgotten and never will be.
