Silver Hell?

I have 180 comp wins and my highest previous rank was Master Guardian I.
I used to play with other people in a higher skillgroup and it ended up with great games and then I took a big break from CSGO. When I came back I was in silver and I get aces and average out on top most of the time. I have weird games where there's all silvers except one nova on the enemy team or something like that. I even have ranked up to silver 3 and then the enemy team would surrender and then I get deranked to silver 2. I have a friend who is ranking up with me now as well and I'll help him get ranks fast within like 3-4 rounds of winning after his first 10 rounds. He's ranked up past me and it'll stay that way then I'll rank down super fast within one or two losses.
Are all of my old matches going against me somehow?

solo que and playing games against higher ranks pulled me from silver elite to nova 2 in less than a few days... queing with full teams or 3/5 barely got me a rank a week... i only have 162 wins... AND everytime someone you que with gets banned.. ALL THOSE GAMES you played wiht them are removed... so you loose a lot of elo even if you unfriended them awhile ago or someone else invited them to the lobby.

Oh that's no bueno because I usually have the luck to find toxic games and have to try and turn it around. But when It's the enemy team doing it I can't help but to lose a ♥♥♥♥ ton of ELO.

Yes. Few weeks ago, there were like 2-3 matches of which opponents surrendered and got me demoted to lower ranks.

i lost 4 match in a row againts same rank silver= derank
i won 6 match in a row againts higher rank(nova and above), including 16-0 againts dmg
still no rank up
its called trap for a reason bcs the system wont let u go out
enjoy silver, dont get high expetation

unless you got 100 win a row(which i never get so idk what will happen)

Every rank is hell in North Europe without premade. The teams you get on Stockholm servers are ridiculously bad because of a certain country *cough cough* ahem.

Yeah I just recently got that silver 3 rank demoted back to a silver two because I had to surrender a 2v5 game

Low (I and II) and Very High Silver (Elite Master) are the only annoying silver ranks, especially Elite Master, the rest were very easy; when I got back in Silver III it took me about 1 week to get out of it, with just 1 game per day at the time, (considering Silver I took me 1 year
and II took me 6 months that's a low time) unlike 3 now cuz online classes don't even matter to ms.

Exactly 100 wins and I went from Silver 1 to Nova 1 and like 50 wins after that I was already Gold Nova Master

It is a thing in my case, solo queue.

I fluctuated between Silver 4 and Gold Nova 1 for quite long time, and I thought that it was an infinite loop.
Sometimes, right after I promoted to Gold Nova 1, I was placed in a very weak team and strong opponents multiple times a row (and lost all of them, sometimes 0-16 or 0-9), got demoted straight to Silver 4, then I won matches and got promoted back.

From what I know, win/lose ratio after your last promotion/demotion, is the biggest factor that decides your next rank movement.

Now I have ranked past the fluctuating loop, I'm currently Gold Nova Master.
Ranks may not reflect your own skills in short term, but in long term, it can, and you can always play better over time.

If you can't climb in CS:GO then it's 100% a skill issue. Go in aim trainer.

Simply having better aim already gets you into Global.
