maybe they are wording it in a way I do not notice it :P
Nice racism you got there buddy.
I know multiple people that have Ryzen builds, yet they have no performance issues. In the end, it's user preference.
(Funny thing is that in Serbia, Ryzen 5 3600 is $400, while Intel 12th gen is legit ~$650 (if you're speaking about i7. I wouldn't spend that much money on a CPU).
it is not clear why not everyone has a problem
Yes, and i already changed the title, it seems that not only AMD but Intel based PC also suffered it too. But it does not happened to anyone , does it?
It seems CS:GO is the only game that has slow startup / launch, my other games launch smooth and fast, such as valorant, dota2, fornite, PES 2021, etc. So i think we need to wait for the CS:GO updates to fix it.
Please do report it via steam, so that they can notice and fix it faster.
Yes, it is still slow to startup
Updates: lagging while pressing u /y to chat and in buy menu , after those thing closed no lag. Getting worse...
Anyone having the same issue?
I google it and found it happened from the past too, and it can be solved by restarting the CSGO and STEAM and lastly restart the PC, but it did not fixed.
its so frustrating to have a great pc but is let down with this issue.
some friends say its just windows 11 and cs2 conflicting so to speak. its driving me potty!!
Could you tell us what your disk driver's utilization % is when you're loading CS2?
Let's start from the disk, to make sure it's working ok.
Make sure to load CS2 for this test after you reboot, because if you have a lot of RAM space, the game me be fully cached or in part in RAM and not use the disk at all.
Then you can use S.M.A.R.T. (it's a monitoring your disk's health and keeps it on a chip on the drive).
"Most modern drives have a feature called S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology), which monitors different drive attributes in an attempt to detect a failing disk. That way, your computer will automatically notify you before data loss occurs and the drive can be replaced while it still remains functional.
In Windows, you can manually check the S.M.A.R.T. status of your drives from the Command Prompt. Just type "cmd" into the search bar on the taskbar and open the application. In the pop-up box, run the following:
wmic diskdrive get model,status
It will return Pred Fail if your drive's death is imminent or OK if it thinks the drive is doing fine." [1]
