IF YOU CAN CONTROL IT.
Most people can't, hence you play low.
Thanks for your answer. So, all the PRO bla bla stuff are just useless. What matters is the control. Playing with a low sens is not for me at all, i prefer small hand movements with large game movement. A lot talk about the "micro adjustments", but i think it's faster get an HS in flick than adjust with 0.5 sens.
"High DPI low sense" IS objectively better than "Low DPI high sense", because you can think about it like this:
DPI determines how often it "updates" your mouse position and "sense" as a factor, so you rather move x pixel ingame rather than 1 pxiel for each "update".
So in that regards, having more updates that are less significant give you more precision that a low udpate rate with a high factor.
Because a DPI of 500 and a sense of 1 is equivalent to a DPI of 1000 and a sense of 0.5 (I think atleast, I dont know if there are any kind of conversions taking place) (in overall turn speed)
Edit: And I write this just as a piece of information if you want to find YOUR perfect overall sense.
But hey, "all pros are useless" like the dude above said.
I see you in the next major..
You should use max DPI and max sens, you will become soo quake bro
xD xD xD
A higher sens is better in situations like clearing a site while a lower sens is better for holding an angle while walking/long range fights.
Your PERSONAL ideal sense "should" be somewhere between 1.0 and 3.0 @400dpi 1000Hz. (generally, ofc there are exceptions)
The are a lot of reasons why a lot of Pro's use a lower sens and a 4:3 stretched resolution. But the most important for me is that they want to achieve maximum precision in the area represented on the screen. Because stuff like 180s when an enemy shoots you from behind are barely necessary in high tier CS. Why? Cause you dead.
So to sum it up, try finding your ideal sense isn't easy (I am sure there are some vids out there showing you how to find it, I can also help you out if you need it), but once you found it you never have to mess with it again (and shouldn't because of muscle memory). :)
I've been playing roughly 20 years, had time to experiment, watch videos of other people experimenting.
1 thing is clear. 'putting tons of hours into 1 sens cuz you will learn it eventually' is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. :)
You will acomodate to some degree, but if it never was the right sens for you, you wont reach your peak.
I played 10 years 3.6 sens because childhood. was LEM
one day i decided to experiment more and try different senses for 1 month.
decided to stick to 2.
1 year on 2 sens, got to GE and Faceit 10. My aim was loads better.
3.6 was just to high for me :).
I kinda hated 2.0 at the beggining, but after testing with 2.5 and other sens.
I decided my biggest flaw in the game was my aim, so i sacrificed mobility for aim. Stuck with 2.
Big reason pros use low is because like i said, most people cant adapt to faster. Unless you think you are above average. Most of them are arround 2 for a reason.
Arguably one reason S1mple is so good is because he can handle 3, while others can't.
Some pros that use high sens like Fox or Woxic have actually reduced their sens over time, even their team asked them to do it. Because they were whifing.
My issue is that i don't play only CSGO. You are in right, but what i try to do is use a sens which can fit good in all fps i play. For example, in DOOM i don't peek angles. Usually i play fast games, so i would like to use an high sens on cgo to prevent to stay low on the other fps.
You have 400*2.7 = 1080 eDPI
And that is absolutely fine. The average strong CSGO player uses 900 eDPI. Some use down to 400 eDPI, some up to 1.200 eDPI. There are very few player on high level who play with lower or higher eDPI.
Suggest is 900 -/+ few hundreds. So ~700 - ~1200 is absolutely fine. You're just slightly above average as I'm slightly below it, for example. I use 1600 DPI with 0.5 sens = 800 eDPI.
Also values can vary depending on the surface of your mousepad and the glider you're using. Especially mousepads can give you a big variation of how fast you can move around with that mouse and thus you want to use lower eDPI values on fast gliding surfaces and vice versa.
It's straight up a FACT that a specific eDPI range is suggested because mechanically it makes the same sense. That's why formel 1 driver for example also all use the roughly same steering speed and none has too much or too less steering otherwise they couldn't compete or at least had to spend more time learning into it than it is worth it to compete against other driver, which is time waste.
Additional, the only real guide you need for further information is this one:

Thing is, no, you probably can't xD. Like 95% of people can't.
One way to see if a sens is good for you, is to play DM pistols. PISTOLS
Why? Because with auto rifles you can still do micro corections and just go full auto and manage your hits.
With pistols, since its single shot.
Its the embodiment of testing your hand to eye coordination and reflex time on clicking your mouse.
If you miss them 1 tap headshots a lot, and you always micro-adjusting, your sens is probably to high.
That's is true. I ALWAYS play deagle to check if my arm is working or not. So, are you suggesting to test with pistol ? Or Pistols and Rifles are too mush different?
Also the vid that was linked above mentions something i said earlier. 'you may think you play better at high sens, but try lower, high chances are you will be better'.
It feel unconfortable at first, few days to adjust.
While 2.7 is not ludicrous high, it is on the higher scale.
I don't think you need to go incredibly low from that.
If u feel like testing i suggest anything from 1.8 to 2.2 for you. Can try all 3 over the course of some days and settle on one.
1.8, 2 and 2.2
And as another user mentioned, settle on 1 sens. Then repeat without changing to train it up for months.
Hardest part is finding the right sens and there isn't an 100% sure way of finding out wich one is for you.
I have my hopes up for this app that is supposed to launch this year that does complete analysis on eye to hand coordination and reactions and its supposed to help you find your sens.
Not out yet.
