Quiet mechanical keyboard for CSGO
I've been playing on a basic cheap acer keyboard for a long time now and I would like to buy a new keyboard.

I've seen that a lot of people like the movement and touch they get with a mechanical gaming keyboard. The only problem is that I need one that doesn't make massive clicking sounds.

Even though i know that all the mechanical keyboards make more noise, I would really like to find a quiet one in comparison with the other mechanical keyboards.

So my question is: Do you know a quiet mechanical gaming keyboard?

I would really appreciate the help :)

I think you didn't understand what i was looking for John, there is still a difference in sound between every mechanical keyboard. Thanks for the video Lucifer :) it seems that the Cherry mx Black switches are the most quiet ones

Would you prefer the red switches or the black switches? I've seen that the black ones give you more resistance, but maybe they could be giving too much resistance for fast reactions.

I was just trying to make a joke about how loud mechanical keyboards are.

Not sure if can help you much.

Is it just me or do they look really squishy? The whole reason that I like mechanical keyboards is that they aren't squishy but it looks like he is actually able to hold the keys between the up/down position.

Also a youtube video to showcase how quiet switches are only really works relative to the other switches in that video. I'd need a comparison between normal mechanical keyboards in the same video so I know it was recorded in the same way.

Get the red keys, i personally use and prefer the loud, clicky blue ones

Have you considered a keypad? The Razer Orbweaver rocks!

It doesn't provide enough information about them, in that image red and brown appear identical other than colour, it doesn't show the internal differences.
black or red dont click, also there are little rings you can buy to dampen the key if your pressing them all the way (bottoming out).

Thanks for the help guys :) it seems that new Silent MX switches have been made a few months ago and they are very similar to the red switches but they are very silent! There's only one keyboard available at the moment with them so I guess i"ll wait.

Black/reds aren't tactile, which means they are quiet until they bottom out and let out a click when they hit the base of the keyboard.
You can use rubber O-rings to make these switches very quiet.

The difference between those 2 switches is the force needed to press them:
Reds - 40grams
Black - 60grams
