[Revised] Actual CS:GO Inventory Limit
My old thread pretty much is very outdated and some things turned out to be not true. So after experimenting and observing how it works, I once again found something different than I previously had experienced.

- There is no actual limit to how many items you can accumulate. You can have as much as 2,000 or even 5,000 items in CS:GO. However, you cannot receive items from trading or from the Community Market unless the person has less than 1,000 CS:GO items.

Proof: http://steamcommunity.com/id/geel69

(The guy's account was given a Terms of Service ban for using a third party website which restricts accounts from buying games from Steam, trading, and gifting. All items listed from the Community Market were removed and unlisted back to his inventory.)

- Effectively speaking, having 1,000 CS:GO items is a trading limit(not an actual inventory limit) which means you cannot accept trade offers/receive trade offers if you have 1000 or more in your inventory.

- In reality, it is still possible to have even beyond 5,000 items in your inventory. However, you will be unable to trade/receive CS:GO items until you have lowered your inventory to 999 or less

(i.e.: Giving 1,000 M9 Doppler FN's to another person's inventory that has 999 or less CS:GO items; the trade will still go through)

does it change if i have more than 1000 items in my inventory if i put them all on the market. so basically this is the account i store all my cases on, if i list them on the market without actually selling them, will i be able to trade again once my inventory is underneath 1000 items?

i guess im getting error 25 whilst trying to accept the trade, im not really certain why since my current inv is at 857 cases and im trying to accept 176 which means i will only have 1031 cases in my inventory which isnt even much above the limit

So i have 2,000 items in the market and should have another order of 1,000 coming into my inventory tonight. Any ideas how many items you can store in the market? Or does it matter as long as its under $500?

The amount of listings is virtually unlimited as long as their after tax value doesn't reach more than $500.

200 items per year without paying a legitiment monthly tax.

Unlimited items if you do pay that tax.

It's like an actual tax you have to pay. Like an electricity bill, if you want to list more than 200 items in the steam market in 1 year.

You do not pay a monthly tax to Valve once you fill in the 200 inventory limit. You actually pay tax when you purchase an item from the Steam Community Market or get taxed when you sell an item to the Market. Whoever told you its a monthly payment is very negative or overexaggerated the policies of Valve.

Also, once you reach 200 listings, filling in the tax info is more of like a verification or an added registration to continue listing items to the Market. You can still buy items from the Market even without filling in the tax info but Valve won't let you list items until you fill in the tax info. It's not a big deal but hey, it's their policy.

You cannot buy more CSGO items from the Market when you have 1000 or more items in your inventory.
