Fps drop csgo with high end computer wtf?! 250fps->100 or less in gunfights!

Hello!

ive got some big issues,, im getting thoose "fps drops" or stuttering dno what i should call them, anyways, at start of a round its okey like 250ish, but when i face another player or a lot of action going on it gets really unstable and unrelieble, im often dropping from 250 to 120 or even lower in big action situations.

My rig is kinda high end i think, but that doesnt show in CSGO..
And yes i got all the latest drivers and i have tried the usual launch options without any real succes.

CPU i7 4790k
GPU Msi Gaming 970gtx
16 gig 1600mhz ram
SSD samsung 850 pro 256G
z97 Motherboard
720W powersupply
Asus 144 hz monitor

And im running on Windows 10 64bit atm, tried a lot of different OS but without results.
im hoping for an answere to solve this issue, im actually offering a reward of some kind if we manage to get my fps stable over 250 at almost all time, atleast no dropp -100ish

My friends have been complaining to me that their CS is been playing weird with fps drops since they upgraded to W10. Maybe there is a problem with W10, but i couldn't really know myself cause im still running W7.

Actually i started having this issue back when i had W7, and they are exact the same on W10..
i dont think its an OS thingy in my case.

Well i don't know what could be the problem then. I had a similar problem last year, but in my case it was a technical issue. 4x Pin on my motherboard disconnected and it started making a mess inside, overheating the motherboard and the CPU, and my PC started dropping frames everywhere until i fixed the problem. Have you opened and cleaned your PC recently? It can be that your PC is full of dust and is overheating and dropping frames because of that.

Acctually i have not. i will try it out, but im not that certain it will help, wasnt that long ago i did it, ty anyways dude!

You can be amazed how cleaning a PC can help you, i got around 20fps or more in some instances, and no problem, glad to give a hand to a fellow gamer.

Dno whats wrong, have tried cleaning the pc physically and it didnt make the fps increase, but i found a lot of dirt.. :P
when spending tons of hours searching on google i find a lot of people experiance the same issue.. ... :(((

100 fps is still very playable.

i might have described it badly. the thing is the drop from 230-250 to 100 or 80 even.. that makes difference, some sort of a small freeze and then back up.. kinda ruins the game for me.. :(

ya this week i went from 220 fps to 80fps its un playable when your used to 200 valve needs to fix this hopefully before they add any more stickers or operation/cases to the game some people have been having the issue since the 9/24 update

Same here have 300+ FPS now have it 120-70 WTF:(

Same here. Got low fps on Intel i5-2500 3.4Ghz with 2GB graphic on board. I had stable 300fps on every situation. Now it rapidly drops to +/- 100 when more then one model or smoke appears on screen.

i just upgraded my gpu to a 980ti, when i had my 290x i had 300-400fps . now i have 150-250.

sad part is alot of my friends arent having these issus we are a minority i doubt valve fixes it anytime soon

Try Turning off shadow play, mine made my game laggy but when I turned it off my cs go was back up to 200-300fps
