Impossible to play on wi fi connection

Hi everybody

Since the download, i can't run CS Go on wifi. This is not connection problem because my bro' can run it on wifi, and our connection works pretty good.

I have this issue only on CS. It means that the problems come from the game but i can't find the roots of it :/

Are you both on the same connection? What is the exact issue you are experiencing while playing on wifi?

Disclaimer before others point it out: Wifi is not a supported means of playing online games and you can run into continual problems while trying to use wifi to play online games.

If you're playing on wi-fi it could be any number of things. Someone else could be using a lot of bandwidth, you could be in a spot that the wi-fi doesn't reach well, someone could have set priority traffic to their pc in the router, you just don't have the internet speed to do it and so on.

I mean, the issue is not the wifi, everywhere i try to play on wifi (even if my connection works pretty nice like 100mo/sec) CS do not work.

Other games works fine, like league of legend or border lands online, but CS GO don't.

My bro don't have this issue, and the band is not a problem because the used to play as 4 on CS GO at house^^

The exact issue that I have is :
At the moment i enter the game, my ping became extremely high, and i can't do anything, before the begining of the game, I have a warning message at the right top corner with a 30 sec delai to fix it.

So I really can't ply on wifi.

Maybe your wireless chip in your pc or laptop isn't that good

I'm playing on wifi with no problem. It could be your USB dongle.

I don't think so, because all other games work fine on wifi. :/

Some settings somewhere in your connection has changed then since the update.
Only you can find them

im having the same problem. My ping is only around 50ms, but i keep getting the disconnect warning even though my wifi works on google chrome, skype, and other games. Please send help :(
