RTX 3050 vs RTX 3080 Ti

Hi,
I just bought a laptop to work elsewhere than my desktop. Laptop has 3050 RTX.
Compared to my 3080 Ti on my desktop computer, the fps comprison is from 390 to 80-140 with worse display settings. Is the 3050 laptop GPU that bad ?

I HAVE 3070 LAPTOP AND 200 FPS AVERAGE ON 1440P, MY WORD IS HOLY, YOU COULD INVEST A BIT MORE

As CS Ghost Animation told - the main iusse with laptops is that they thermal-throttling you chip, so chip may be same as in actual GPU, but it just limited by temperature

but just why?, rtx 3060 is far more better and just 250$ more, it isn't much looking that rtx 3050 in a laptops costs over 1250$

It's not about the cost of the laptop, as I wrote here, I have a desktop computer with 3080 Ti, ryzen 5950x etc. It's just the laptop was very compact (14" with QHD 120Hz) and I felt in love with it. I just found the gpu was a bit "light". But I didn't understand it's such a big gap between 3080 Ti desktop and 3050 laptop gpus.

How do you check CS GO is not using the ryzen embedded gpu?

laptop GPUs have trouble getting the heat away thus GPUs often are throttled if used in a laptop. Moreover they cannot use as much power as the power supply isn't that as powerfull as a full desktop one (compare my 300W desktop GPU vs. my 65W laptop power supply, for example).

It's quite a pain in the ass to not reach at least 120 fps with a RTX 3050 on a game old for more than twenty years
