Piracy yes, but law is not same everywhere, for example downloading cracked games in Poland is legal (it's not crime) but if you try to sell cracked games you will have bad time.

If you use P2P Filesharing Software like Torrents to get pirated Software (which is the most case) it is bad since it's illegal in most Countries.

Actually i am laughing how stupid you are...
It has been some years after he posted this question.

He asked for torrented game and you can't get banned by VAC for downloading torrented game and BTW torrented games /cracked games aren't violating the terms of steam, it only violates them if you try to redeem a game key that has already been used or has been generated onnline , but he was banned by VAC so that means he was cheating (using hack) and not playing torrented game .. so think about it before you say it because you are the MR. Stupid here. And you can't get banned for torrenting games , my friend was downloading cracked games for about 7-8 years and adding them in to steam library as non steam game , and his account is in perfect shape after those 8 years and still didn't got banned.. Mr.Stupid
