Where is downloaded files GATHERED AT?
When I join a cs map and download additional files for the map or server such as sounds, skins, 3d models, whatever, like multikill, headshot, I wanna know where does this files be located at ?

Reason i ask is because I believe i downloaded a nasty trojan/virus/hack/keylogger/vac-tool-banner by joining a private server and i wanna get rid of it before playing so I dont get vac banned by vac detecting it.

In several locations. It's quite a mess, that's why I have the download of custom content disabled.

I remember from CS:S what a pain in the behind it was to find all files belonging to one download/map -- too much trouble.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cache
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\downloads
downloads usually go into either of those folders

If there are models and sounds etc. included, stuff also goes to:

..\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\maps\
..\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\materials\
..\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\models\
..\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\resource\
..\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\sound\
and maybe
..\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\scripts\

If it's a ZIP file, then simply search

..\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\

for any ZIP file > *.zip

What I do if I get an unwanted file is delete local content and what I've noticed is the time it takes to reinstall the game on that computer the download time decreases as you do it more often

I force shut down the game whlist it was downloading. think it came to 78% or something when I force shut it.

Try running a quick scan with Malwarebytes and your preferred antivirus
