Mouse Speed Limit
I was told that I should set my mouse acceleration to off, and raw input to on in the keyboard/mouse settings. I did so, and I noticed a MASSIVE limit on how fast I could 180 in game. I turned off raw input and it was fixed - for the most part. I spun as fast as a could with raw input off, and I noticed the same speed limit, just on a much smaller scale. Sensitivity has nothing to do with the issue nor with the mouse that I'm using. I feel physically disabled when playing CS. Please help.

you have to find the right sensitivity to use raw input but when you do, you can drastically improve your general aiming, flickshots and pre-aiming. try looking at a marker on the wall and move left for 5 seconds and right again for another 5 seconds and try to keep your cursor on the marker. It will take probably 5 minutes tops to find your sensitivity.

note: after changing your sensitivity, you should practise on some dm or quick aiming maps to get the right feel for it

extra note: NEVER have mouse acceleration for any FPS game; it makes your aiming way more inconsistent and luck based

your problem in a nutshell put your windows sensitivity on 6/11 and turn raw input on you feel no difference anymore and try to calculate your new true sensitivity before changing your windows, by doing: IN-Game sensitivity x DPI x windows sensitivity = true sensitivity
also go look for adreN video about this.
and what raw input does is set your windows settings to standard so you don't have these calculations you don't want and its easier cause otherwise you need to change bullcrap you don't want so putting raw input on is easier and feels smoother after a while but turning it off gives you the free feeling of moving the mouse but there could be a tinny little bit of mouse accel going on you don't want and it might be skipping pixels

Rue I am having the same issue as you. Sensitivity, acceleration, raw input settings are irrelevant because the mouse's max speed is limited. It doesn't matter how fast you move the mouse and what the settings are, you can only move the cursor so fast.

Did you ever figure out this problem?

Damn this was in 2015 haha. I think I did, though. Well, I didn't quite figure out how to fix it with that mouse, but I remember switching to my old Zowie mouse (which has better hardware), and I think that did it. So perhaps borrow a friends gaming mouse or something and see if that fixes it. Hope this helped.
