You see viewers on the scoreboard, and on the CSGO friends list you'll see "spectating competitive dust2" on your friend, or something along those lines.
* I could not find any options to disable gotv in the UI.
* There's no viewer indicator.
the only reason I knew about a spectator was because a friend told me (casual and comp). On tounament gotv, however, I assume there's an 'eye' indicator.
* steam broadcast (invite only) is not the same as gotv broadcast.
* To know if you're 'broadcasting' ask someone to see if there's a tv icon on the right hand side (friends list)...
why this is so obscure is beyond me. there should be options besides removing people and becoming an online recluse. you can forget the nazi expression 'if you don't have anything to hide you have nothing to fear' cliche. not helpful.
Anyone in match (friend or fiend) can enable / disable spectating friends.
GoTV Service is always enabled in public mm and automatically sets up if someone wants to spectate. GoTV Broadcast MM List ist somehow random i guess (correct me if im wrong, afaik matches with existing spectators will appear randomly as spectable game).
