Lots of good information here.

There is no "best" gun. AK has more damage, the M4A1-S has the most controllable spray (even after the last update), and (please correct me if I'm wrong) the M4A4 has the best armor penetration in close range and fastest bullet output. (RIP english)

what the update did is to specialize/differ the play styles of M4s a bit more. But i dont like the update XD

A1-s due to its accuracy over a long range, at a higher comp level people tend to stop charging in open areas where the AK and the M4 are better suited.

The M4-S had a spread impairment, not a recoil impairment. If anything, it recoils less now because of the update, but first shot accuracy is less.

If i play i have the felling the bullets per minute decrease is the only thing that is really noticable with the M4s, but that just personal.

But hey maybe i whine in 2 weeeks about a lot of 4 hit 89 dmg shots XD

I hope so ... i read somewhere there was or will be a decrease of armor penetration. I actually did not check the complete patch notes. I have to do that right now ;)

Seriously though, out of the three - the AK is the best if you can use it. then the M4s, its preference.

i cant shoot worth ♥♥♥♥ with the AK sadly though. the odd ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hit but thats it
