Game keeps telling me I have an ongoing match...

I play a match in competitive regular to the end, i am not leaving until it sends me back to the game menu.
When I try to start a new competitive then, the game keeps telling me I have an "ongoing match". After restarting CSGO I get the opportunity to either connect or abandon the game. Connecting fails (because the match already ended), so I chose to abandon once and received a ban! So thats not an option either!

Does anybody know about that issue and how to solve it?

Same! Had a 10 minute ban, waited it out, just played another and same, so now I'm gonna have a 30 minute one...

I've just had the same issue. I know I will get cooldown anyway. This bug has been here for at least 2+ years.

I have been having a lot of connectivity issues, to name them:
1. ongoing match after graceful end of the match (this one)
2. occasional disconnect and inability to reconnect because of server issues
3. starting a match and then (read this 10 times - after start of the match) having VAC issues observed only on a few servers. (developers keep saying that it is mostly client issues - read FAQ)
4. 10k+ people waiting for matchmaking for infinite time
5. players with ping > 100 (mostly russians) hitting in head anything flying around them and putting 50 bullets from p90 right in the close body and having no hits (developers keep saying that it is client issue)
6. Absense of ranks for 1+ hours.
7. Not recording match results. I had to win 9 times in a line to became promoted.
8. Connectivity errors in last 2 championship finals. I was not able to connect and watch for about 15 minutes.

Not to say that game developers allow people to kick players if some russians gets crazy after pistol round and start kicking. Then get cooldown for not playing (kicked) with crazy russians for 3 times.
The reporting system is also crap. Instead of allowing reporting only if the user reviewed the game post-match and made sure that his concerns exist they allow to report instantly and formed a patrol who watches 99% reports of clean people. Ill brained developers.

Don't believe anyone who writes that this bug will be fixed today. Steam is a bloatware and developers are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ engineers. They just don't care about our troubles. This is what I've learned during last 7 years of plaing CS.
