Faceit tournaments + no mic
I'm thinking of joining a faceit tournament as solo but I don't have a mic. Will people flame you for it? I'm not a bad player, I'm Global Elite.

How good are the players in faceit tournies? Ill feel a bit bad if theyre all globals and just as good or better than me and I don't have a mic, but if I can frag well I don't think it should matter too much.

Well it depends how fast you can type xD. But yes people will get a bit mad for you coming unprepared.

Well it depends how fast you can type xD. But yes people will get a bit mad for you coming unprepared.
yolo i just joined, hopefully team isnt too mad. if they dont flame me to oblivion at the start i think theyll be satisfied with my performance

I have no idea because everyone can have different experiences. Higher he gets, more people might be surprised.

well nobody cared that i didnt have a mic. we had a smfc, mge, mg1, and le (and then me). we won 1st game cus me and the smfc dropped 30s (rest of team had under 20) and then we forfeited the 2nd game because my teammates decided to leave and that they didnt want to play anymore. worst part is the other team only had 3 players starting out the 2nd game.

You must be trolling. Most games I play DMG, LE, LEM and Supreme we boot people if they aren't going to use their mic. ESEA is the same way.

If you kick teammates from real tournaments for not having a mic you must clearly not have a brain.

Actually, in tournaments, we reject anybody without a mic. I'm mostly referring to MM.

Lol who even cares that much about MM... and i can still type callouts. As long as people use the radar and I can type stuff it hardly matters at this level of play. Sure pros need mics because they do coordinated pushes and executes, but really it hardly matters in competitive.

Maybe not to you, but I know several it matters to including me. I'm not going to be distracted by reading your text when I can just replace you with another player that has no problem buying a $5 microphone. Really quite simple honestly.
