How would i go about changing the mouse click speed?
maybe by providing some resistance? anyway i have a mouse in which when i click once it might be a burst tap i only would like a one tap. and i have to click really fast to get said one tap.

this is stressing me because when i want to get a tap headshot its less like tap tap tap and more like 2 burst 2 burst 2 burst and by then the recoil is going everywhere. can i have a link as to how i would go about doing this?

my mouse is a hp 5 button optical mouse 1200 dpi.... yes i know.

you just have to press lighter and train your hand. you cant stiffen your mouse clicks
only think i can think of is trying to change it in the windows settings
control panel -> mouse -> buttons and theres an option for double click speed, though i'm not sure that would actually change anything since thats more about how fast you need to click before windows sees it as a double click vs 2 single clicks

only other option i could imagin would be if there was a way to turn auto fire off (might be doable with some console trickery but i'm not sure) but then that would get very annoying i'm sure

regardless of what you do though firing speed will remain the same

Maybe you need a different mouse? Also, the only adjustments you can make are via your mouse's software.

New mouse won't help. In fact, better mice have lighter switches and you might end up accidentally pressing more than necessary. Just train yourself to tap quickly and lightly.

Alternatively, you may try mouse drivers for that.
