Crash issue, temporary solution to fix it, Try this...

Recent update caused the crash issue. below is the way how to fix it, hope Valve can fix it soon in next update.

Find the cs2.exe, normally under this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\bin\win64

RMB the exe file, click the "compatibility" , enable the checkbox for "Run this program in compatibility mode for 'windows8'"
I have tested over 10 times, the crash issue was gone after this change.

I have another problem where it tries to launch Xbox Game Bar every time I open CS2 even though I have it disabled and uninstalled. I started getting this problem after reinstalling Windows due to gaslighting myself into thinking that it's my fault that CS2 crashes.

maybe you can try to just disable the xbox game server from windows, so it never activate again.

I think the root cause for you maybe because you play the dustII map too much, every time you jump to the Xbox, it activate your xbox game bar.

Ahh good old. Has to be the infamous shared dll library ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ yet again, I dont remember where i read this but there are slightly different dll versions for older windows versions for compatibility reasons that you can force using that option. Something like that, maybe it was some old linus techtips video where they had to solve some weird issue with drivers idk.

Your PC doesn't have an app that can open this link. Try looking for a compatible app in the Microsoft Store.

you can try another simple way:
open the task manager, go to the startup, change the "xbox" to disable. reboot.

actually if you want to try the servers, also the task manager, search "xbox", right click all to stop. then try CS2, the message window should be gone.
