If any of you are thinking about using the "Armory" in CS2

The odds of getting a Red item drop from the Armory like an M4A1-S Fade is 1/756. A standard CS2 Case is 1/385 (That is almost 2x as bad)

If you wanted to get 1 chance of getting that skin you would need 4 "Stars". The ONLY way to get "Stars" is to have a "Pass". A Pass that is 15.99$. Every time you level up that pass with XP you get 1 star. One pass allows you to get up to 40 stars. You can have up to 5 passes active at one time, Meaning that if you wanted to get the most stars for a CHANCE at getting the skin you would want to buy 5 passes which would cost 79.95$ or 80$ with tax.

If you have 5 passes active it would take approximately 25 minutes (from my testing) to get enough XP to get 5 stars. And since 1 pass gives you 40 stars that means you can get 200 stars for 80$ so how long would it take to get ALL 40 stars for all 5 passes? 16 hours and 40 minutes.


Now assuming that you spend All the stars you get on the CHANCE of getting the M4A1-S Fade which i said the odds of getting are 1/756 OR 0.132%. it would take approximately 3,024 stars.
To find out how much money it would take to get 3,024 stars, we can break it down step by step:

Stars per pass: Each pass gives you 40 stars.
Total stars needed: You need 3,024 stars.
Passes needed: To find out how many passes you need, divide the total stars needed (3,024) by the stars per pass (40) which is 75.6 but since you can't have half of a pass you’ll need 76 passes.
Cost of passes: Each pass costs $15.95, so the total cost for 76 passes is:

Who taught you math my guy? The odds of hitting a fade is 0.64% or 1/156.25. Your numbers are WAY OFF LOL. And I maxed out the armory pass in 2 days of play time 8 hours per day only playing premier in sub 10k ELO. And there’s so much more than just the fade skin, there’s the charms that have different patterns, the AWP, AK, and gallery cases. Stop trying to gatekeep

I gave in and bought my first pass a few weeks ago. second drop was a factory new fade. most expensive item i have ever had drop for me.
