Isn't it even better than "real operations"? ^^
I mean... in operations you have to do something that you maybe dont like or thats stupid (smoke control room at nuke 50 times or whatever) and it can be bugged.
Here you can play whatever you please and you get progress :)
Casual players can play casual, premier match enjoyers can play premier to level up, deathmatch players can ... you get what I mean
EDIT:
the only thing that is missing are the XP boosts ;((( they could made it at least if you finish a armory pass you get xp boost .... that means 5 xp boosts in total (which of course dont count for armory credits)
