subtick isn't actually the cause of the majority of complaints and people tend to forget how inaccuracy and latency works, A lot of the complaints are the same garbage people have been spouting for the last few years,
Devs rarely outright mention AC updates. They usually like to keep quiet about it instead of HEY GUYS LOOK WE IMPROVED OUR DETECTION MODELS AND HERES HOW THEY WORK SO ALL YOU CHEAT DEVS GET A HEADS UP.
The only reason they brought it up last time was so people know they can contact them if they think a match was unfairly canned.
Overwatch was replaced by vacnet and private investigators (AKA the devs themselves if we apply how they did it with deadlock)
here renos, a good look into the issues
and you are right, subtick isnt the only issue, alot of the game is, from fundamental things like shooting doesnt work properly too animation yank and cheating obviously take priority but subtick is one of the bad apples in the basket aswell
shooting works fine in cs2 what happened is r/globaloffensive had yet another collective idiots moment and swore cs2 had some mythical delay in response times,
When in really offline mode in cs2 had loopback enabled by default and CSGO does not,
turn it on or off in both games and the delay was exactly the same.
And what the you know a patch a day made loopback disabled by default in cs2 offline and all of sudden everyone shut up about it despite no actual networking change.
And the rest of the video is the typical ranting about cheaters and the same complaints we have been hearing about MM for the last decade.
