Prime and non-prime are exactly the same. Same anti-cheat, same players. You just get to level up and get drops.
So no, it's only cheaters playing in prime aswell.
Love how the first 2 who said prime is better are blatant cheaters in every single one of their demo.
Love how OP says he saw maybe 2-3 cheaters in 2 years of Valorant when Valorant is like 90% closet cheaters and 10% legit who have clue wtf they're doing with their life. So yeah, 100% troll post, probably mizuri alt account
Prime and non-Prime players are separated unless a Prime player goes out of their way to team up with someone who doesn't own it.
Prime is somewhat of a barrier of entry but not really a big one so don't expect to never see a cheater because of a $15 price tag.
Your main concern is trust factor which tries to separate people who might have a history of cheating on other accounts and a tendency to be repeat offenders with players who are very unlikely to cheat.
Your Steam account is pretty new and assuming it's your first and only, Steam doesn't have much data on you.
Nobody can tell you whether you'll end up in the "good" or "bad" lobbies. You would need to add data by playing for your situation to improve.
If you see yourself playing the game for months I'd say buy prime.
If you're just trying it out you might want to hold off and see if you even enjoy it.
No. In 2017 Valve made CS2 free and gave prime for free when people reached level 21, unfortunately Valve let people farm those free prime accounts and now they being sold everywhere on the internet and God only knows how many accounts are there (back then people could open multiple CS windows using an antivirus sandbox I think and use bots to play together to farm xp). This free prime ended in mid 2021, imagine how much damage is done to prime and unfortunately it was all Valve's fault and it was obvious it was going to happen, one didn't need to have a 130 IQ to realise this.
Please, do yourself a favor and do not buy prime.
Don't fall for any lies in here, non prime and prime users have the same anticheat measures working. There is no official statement from Valve saying those 2 groups have different anticheat measures.
As usual, misinformation here in the community. Here is a video from a youtuber playing non-prime and VAC 3.0 cancelling a match (at 15:30): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtMq_qXl1ow
Feel free to show any official statement from Valve saying there is any difference in protection comparing prime and non prime players. You won't find it because prime is simply a paywall that was supposed to keep cheaters away following the premise that people won't pay if they are going to cheat.
I don't know about the video, I'm only repeating what I know - cheaters have been freely cheating in nonprime without consequence, much easier than in Prime. It may be that the AC measures are not as strong instead of nonexistent.
Thank you for taking time to write that , toxic lil boy :D
