Everyone just buy accounts nowadays ?

95% of the time i meet people with fake/alt accounts and i could never understand on why they do it, Asked some of them when they are in my team and they always avoid my question, what exactly started this trend of buying accounts ?

its always accounts that only have cs2 with low hours no inventories and coincidently turning 5 years old

OT , I see alot of bought accounts ( alot using wh as well ) in casual , in MM I dont even look at other ppl's profile but I doubt I would see any.

The trend you speak off has been going on for years , when cs go was free and you could get prime for free when hitting lev 42 or something theyre were created a zillion accounts being sold to this day.

Buying accounts sinks your trust factor so if your seeing alot in MM then it could be tf related as in it son the lower side.

In the end MM wise they shouldnt be a factor .

A lot of these accounts turned back to nonprime when they weren't used in CS2 this year. Which removed a lot of these accounts for sure. I would not say the market for those accounts are anywhere near as big as they used to be because of that.

They included screenshots of Steam support responding to users explaining that accounts not logged in since release would lose the Prime status. On that day there were several posts from different people who had lost Prime, and to this day there are still people posting "I had prime and lost it now???", that is usually because of this.

Well. Prime is extremely overpriced, considering the current state of this game.
Buying an account for lets say 7 eur, is the best move you can do.
