CS2 Crash on custom servers.

Hello all!
I'm struggling to play CS2 on custom servers that my friends host. The game doesn't seem to crash at any point in particular or favor a certain map. Just at some random point between half a round to a few rounds in, the game completely closes with no error messages or crash pop-up.

I'm tried:
1.Updating graphics drivers.
2.Verifying files.
3.Reinstalling.

Side note: I didn't have this issue prior to CS2 update.

Any help would be awesome. Thank you in advance.

Sometimes. But also standard, valve-create, csgo maps. I also want to point out this happens on friend's private servers, but not community servers. At least not always.

I have noticed the game crashing even on non custom servers. Both times ive tried official competitive the game has unfortunately decided to crash. so it might be a recent problem on valve's end.

Steam support says its a hardware issue on my side and left it at that. The hardware can run every game and runs CS2 on official servers.... Is having hardware issues? Ticket is closed. Awesome support.

Mr. Blue, I have the same issue here since csgo, continued in CS2. I have changed mainboard+cpu+gpu, reinstalled to win 11 and the problem with custom maps on PRIVATE servers still going on. So Im almost certain that the problem is with the internet router, but I dont know what i have to do in configs to fix that.

I tried to ask support about what ports need to be open or if private matches used a different port list, but they gave me no info. I gave CS2 permission though the firewall but nothing changed.

Getting really tired with this. Anyone have any clue? Really wishing CS:GO didn't get replaced right about now.

i have been experiencing the same issue it only appears that the game crashes when a friend is hosting a custom game. when I'm hosting same map same game mode everting works like a charm but when someone else is hosting i crash in approx. 1minute and 40 seconds. I then open cs join again and crash in about the same amount of time. No problems in any official cs game mode

Exactly my issue. Still no solution after all this time. I've tried every "fix" on reddit.
