NordVPN Packet Loss
Does anyone know why I would be receiving a constant 10% packet loss while using NordVPN. It just started happening recently, and I have verified that I am not downloading or uploading any thing else at the time of playing?

Did Steam or Valve recently increase the bandwidth requirements?

I'm limited to 1.5 Mbit Upload, and 2.4 MByte Download.

I have my connection settings in CS2 set to 1.5Mb and lower.

Obvious question but have you tried using various different VPN servers in different cities, and is the % loss consistent across them all?

remember vpns are actually against the terms and conditions of steam and many other sites and platforms,
also a vpn can only be as good as youre internet is if youre lagging on your isp a vpn wont save you from lag,

also make sure the server youre connecting to is 100%/full bars you always want to pick the server closest to you for the lowest possible ping,

the way internet works is farther the server the laggier itll be the closer the server the faster your speeds will be a vpn isnt magical in keeping your speeds youll always have less download upload and a higher ping using a vpn no matter what, it all comes down traffic on said server and how far the server youre connecting to is,

i noticed if i pick a toronto server my download and uploads suffer same with my ping but if i choose a montreal server my ping drops to 0ms/1ms(i already get the lowest ping in my area 3ms but again download and upload speeds slightly slower,

plus its easy to find someones ip address through a vpn so a vpn is virtually useless if the ddoser knows a thing or two about it, vpns always have a backdoor nord express pia cyberghost hotspot shield and many others all have backdoors to expose your real ip nothings full proof in hiding what you do or be protected from ddos attacks.

Not really.. But it does make it hard for Valve to track you by IP. Which, in turn, makes it less likely for them to help you restore your account if you get it stolen.
If hacker happen to steal and mock up your hardware data, the IP address was "the last straw" that could help Valve distinct you from someone else. And if you just make it some 3rd party VPN - the hacker can effectively block you off restoring/returning your account by also using that VPN.

Yes really.

See that last line? "or any other purpose"
