The deagle was already nerfed in CS:GO and I don't see any reason to make it much more useless. But I think it's a great weapon when someone can handle it in Pistol rounds. I can't.

they did nerf it more but then they saw no one was using the third most iconic cs weapon so they buffed it to the sweet spot it has right now
it has the best mastery curve in the game. once you learn how to be consistent with it it gets so fun you have to stop yourself and buy ak too

I realised how OP the deagle was when I bought it to troll and still managed to win a round insta HS an awper. That dude must be so pissed up to this day.

But then Gaben took all my blessings and now I miss every deag and get 1 deag'ed by running players.

It's actually pretty good for long ranges like Long on Dust 2. The Deagle is very accurate and can one-tap through helmet, not a single pistol can do the same in long range (R8 can kill, but it is not accurate, you most likely won't hit the head).

However I agree with people here, Deagle is fine as it is and doesn't need any nerf.

I mean there is no any point to buy deagle in pistol round, since no one has a helmet. Even USP is superior for pistol round since you can tap headshots faster with it.

Maybe it was a misleading communication on my site. I was talking about eco or half buy rounds not the 1st Pistol round. I actually think Deagle is a good but challenging weapon. You have to figure out how it works that needs some practice. Especially accuracy and that you can't spam shots.

Deagle is killing economy. Better option for eco or half buy is Nova. You just need to catch enemy in close range. 900$ reward for easy kills.

The Pistol round is usually the first round in the half, this is why it is called like that, since you can't buy anything else beside pistols and you know enemies can't either, and there are no helmets.
Though there was a bug in CS:GO when you could kill and enemy pretty fast (mid Dust2) and then get back and buy MAC-10 for example. But it has been fixed later.

If you mean the eco rounds, then you're right, Deagle is actually good choice especially for long ranges. But I barely use it myself, since my aiming at the head kinda sucks.

You don't have to go fight for long distance on eco rounds. Its kinda suicidal.

For long dist, even five seven would be better then deagle. Economically and practically.
